Tips for Donating Items in Good Condition

  • Olalla Recycling and Garbage Facility is unable to take cardboard until further notice. Severe damage to the stairs makes the containers inaccessible. Take your cardboard to another facility or hold onto it.

  • Recycle your paint, stains and varnishes at more locations in Kitsap! Find your nearest drop-off site at and learn which items are accepted.

  • Kitsap County held a successful metal and tire collection event! Residents turned in 5,500 waste tires and 14.5 tons of scrap metal with 129 BBQ grills.
  • Winter weather or other causes may affect facility hours. Check the County's Emergency Information page for any closures or changes to facility hours.
  • All facilities operate with COVID-19 safety guidelines in place. Masks are required.
