Thrift stores and charity shops in our community accept gently-used household items, furniture, clothing, and building supplies in good condition. Donations to 501(c)3 organizations are tax-deductible.

Donation Sites: Most organizations have drop-off sites. These sites are listed below.

Donation Pickup Services: Some groups (Northwest Center,  The Arc, Kitsap Habitat for Humanity, and St. Vincent de Paul-Bremerton) offer home pickup service for select items in good condition. Call or visit the group to learn which items they pick up.

Online Give Aways: It's easy to give away unwanted, quality things directly to the people who need it. On Facebook, find and join your area's Buy Nothing group, list the item in a Buy/Sell/Free group or on Marketplace. Craigslist allows you to list items under the "Free Stuff" category.
