Recycle | Metal siding can be recycled as scrap metal. Ask a private metal recycler about recycling your item. They may take your item intact. Verify accepted items and hours. Olympic View Transfer Station and Silverdale Recycling and Garbage Facility accept scrap metal. Removal of any non-metal part is required. Mostly rusted siding belongs in the garbage. Customers must unload own items into container. Call ahead to inquire about your specific item. |

| Disposal | Wood, vinyl, composite, fiber-cement or other material Non-asbestos siding may be disposed as garbage. Large amounts (over 3 cubic yards) must be taken to Olympic View Transfer Station. Customers must unload waste themselves. Siding with asbestos: Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACM) are only accepted at Olympic View Transfer Station. Follow the asbestos disposal instructions.
Appointment required. ONLY loads with proper label, packaging and waste shipment records are accepted.
