The Kitsap County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility is the only facility that accepts contaminated oil. Floor-dry, kitty litter, and other absorbents used to absorb spills can be disposed as garbage. To avoid spontaneous combustion, store oil-covered materials in a metal-lined container with a tight-fitting lid.
