Paperboard - Food Boxes

(Last Updated: 7/25/2023)

Recycle in the blue bin.

Flatten paperboard boxes for dry foods (cereal, crackers, pasta, etc.) and place in your recycle bin.

Frozen food boxes and paper milk/juice cartons
Dispose as garbage.

Cartons and frozen food boxes are coated in materials that make them difficult to recycle. They were removed from Kitsap's recycle list in 2021.
