Freon (CFCs, HFCFs) is a hazardous refrigerant found in large appliances like fridges, freezers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and water coolers. It is also found in vehicle air conditioner recharge kits. Do not put freon-containing items in the garbage or recycling.
