Insulation

(Last Updated: 11/25/2019)

Some types of insulation contain asbestos. Removing asbestos may cause serious bodily harm. It is strongly recommended that you hire a certified asbestos abatement contractor to identify, remove, and dispose of asbestos.

Reuse

Give away, sell, or donate leftover construction items, including new insulation. Learn more about donating.

Disposal

Non-asbestos insulation may be disposed as garbage. Large amounts (over 3 cubic yards) must be taken to Olympic View Transfer Station. Customers must unload waste themselves.

Insulation with asbestos:  Asbestos-containing loads are only accepted at Olympic View Transfer Station. Follow asbestos disposal requirements.
