Freezer Packs

(Last Updated: 8/23/2018)

Recycle
If your freezer pack came as part of a shipment in the mail, contact the company or manufacturer you received the package from and ask if they would take the freezer pack back to be reused for future shipments.

Reuse

Contact a local scouting troop or food pantry to see if they can reuse your good condition freezer packs.

Freezer packs in good condition can be reused to keep food cool in lunchboxes, coolers and picnic baskets.  They can also be used as a cold compress on the body if they are free from any leaks or tears. Store in your freezer or refrigerator.

Disposal
If you can't reuse or donate, this item can be disposed as garbage.
