Hazardous Waste. Free Drop-Off Disposal. Acids are found in toilet bowl and drain cleaners, some swimming pool chemicals, and a number of other home cleaning products. Bases are commonly found in bleaches, oven and drain cleaners, and other home cleaning products.

Disposal
If you can't use it or give it away, take items to the Kitsap County Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Facility for free disposal.
 
Never allow acids and bases to mix with other chemical products, as dangerous reactions can occur. Package products carefully for transportation. See facility hours at the website below.
